What does a website cost in Egypt, and what should it earn you?
Ask most people what a website costs and you'll get a number. We'd rather start with a different question: what should it earn you?
A website that only looks good is decoration. The ones worth paying for do a job. They bring in leads, put you in front of customers who are already searching, and give you an edge over the competitor down the road who still depends on word of mouth and a Facebook page.
So here is the cost, and what you should expect for it.
The short answer
At Kyberia Tech, a website costs between $600 and $10,000+, depending on the job it has to do:
| What you need | Typical price | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| Landing page | $600 – $1,200 | One page built to win one thing: an enquiry, a booking or a sale. Custom-designed, fast on a phone, with a contact form, analytics and SEO basics |
| Business site | $1,500 – $4,000 | Your home on the web. Several pages that explain what you do, build trust and turn visitors into leads, with content you can edit yourself, an SEO foundation and tuned performance |
| Premium site | $4,000 – $10,000+ | A custom platform: a shop, bookings, a client portal or integrations. Bespoke design and interactions for a business that sells online |
All prices are in US dollars. The pricing section also shows other currencies as approximate conversions; your quote is in dollars.
A website is the space you own
Social media pages are rented. The platform sets the rules, changes the reach and can change the deal tomorrow. A website is yours: your brand, your message, your customers, your data, selling your products and services around the clock.
That is why we don't talk about "building a site". We build the place where your business does business, and we measure it by what it does for you: visibility on the web, leads coming in, engagement from visitors who stay and come back, and growth in profit.
It starts with an identity people recognise
A logo and two colours are not a brand. A brand is the reason a stranger trusts you in five seconds and remembers you a week later.
So we build the identity first: your positioning, your colours, your logo and your voice, made to be relatable to the people you want to reach. The website then speaks in that identity from the first page to the last. When the two are built together, customers feel one business, not a logo glued onto a template.
- Brand identity on its own: $800 – $6,000, from a core identity up to full strategy and guidelines.
- Brand + website bundles: $4,000 – $6,500 for a launch package, $8,000 – $15,000 if you also want launch content and campaign visuals.
Designed for the person using it
Behind every visit is one person on one phone, looking for one answer. We design for that person:
- They find what they came for in seconds.
- Every page loads fast, even on a slow connection.
- It works the same in English and in Arabic, right-to-left done properly.
- The next step, whether that is a call, a booking or a purchase, is always obvious.
That is what a good user experience means in practice. It is also what turns traffic into customers, which is why we treat it as part of the work, not a bonus.
Why a range and not one price
Two "business websites" can be very different jobs. The price depends on:
- How many pages you need, and how much content has to be written or organised.
- Languages. Bilingual English and Arabic is more work than a single language.
- Features. A contact form is simple. A shop, a booking system or a login area is not.
- Design. A custom experience for every page costs more than a template with your logo on it, and performs better.
After a first conversation you get a written quote with a fixed scope, timeline and price, and you agree to it before any payment.
How payment works
No surprises:
- A short conversation about your business and your goals.
- A written quote with scope, timeline and price.
- 50% deposit to book the project and start.
- The remaining 50% on delivery, after you have reviewed and signed off.
If you need it faster, rush projects carry a 30% premium, and the faster timeline is written into the quote.
How long does it take?
It depends on the size. A landing page moves quickly. For a larger project, the usual stages are discovery (1–2 weeks), positioning (1–2 weeks), design (2–4 weeks), build (3–6 weeks) and launch (about a week). Your own timeline is fixed in the quote.
Cheap versus valuable: the questions to ask
Whoever you hire, ask them:
- What will this site do for my business, and how will we tell?
- Is the design built around my customers, or is it a template with my logo on it?
- Will I own it, and can I edit the content myself?
- Is it fast on a phone? Most of your visitors will be on one.
- Who looks after it after launch, and what does that cost?
- What exactly is in the price, and what costs extra?
A low price is fine if the answers are good. It is expensive if you pay twice.
